Witch’s Brew Hard Cider
From our Coven to Yours
One of my favorite memories is gathering around the pool one night with my friends drinking Apple Cider. It was a full moon. We had lit candles and were reading tarot cards and swimming in the moonlight and I just had to stop and wonder at how lucky I was to have such and incredible little coven of magical friends to spend that evening with.
That was the inspiration for this bottle design.

A Witch isn’t trying to be anything other than who she is. She is raw. She is nature. She is not trying to impress you. She is not fancy or gussied up. She is who she is and all she needs is her coven of friends to be by her side. I tried to capture that spirit in this bottle label.
I chose Tomarik Serif as the type. It’s rough hand drawn quality matched the sketched nature of the drawing which is pulled directly from the pages of my sketch book. I used a bright green and red color palette to contrast with the black and white image to keep it bold and fresh like the cider it’s self.
The result is a bottle design perfect for a magical evening with your own coven.
