failure to communicate

Aster’s Ethiopian Restaurant is one of my favorite dining spots in Austin. It’s been around for years right off of I-35, but chances are you have driven right past it and never knew it was there.

The problem is their sign is almost illegible, especially if you are traveling at high speeds on the highway.

I wanted to redesign their logo and give them a new menu to go with it. My goal was to create something which captured the old and new. Ethiopia is the birthplace of humanity after all.
